Outgoing Teachers and Staff Mobility

UNWE academic and administrative staff can participate in Erasmus+ mobility for teaching or training at partner universities abroad. These mobilities support professional development, international cooperation, and the exchange of academic and administrative experience. Financial support is provided in the form of an Erasmus grant.

Participation rules

The duration of teaching mobility is one week — either 7 calendar days or 5 consecutive working days — during which a minimum of 8 teaching hours must be delivered. The duration of training mobility for staff is from 2 to 5 consecutive working days.

All UNWE academic staff, both full-time and part-time, may participate in Erasmus+ mobility, regardless of academic rank or degree. Academic and administrative staff may normally take part in one mobility per academic year. A good command of the working language used at the host institution is required.

When selecting candidates for teaching mobility, some priority may be given to contact persons under bilateral agreements. Members of the university selection committee may not participate in teaching mobility during the respective academic year. Teaching mobility is carried out during the academic semesters of the host university.

Financial support

Participants receive Erasmus financial support in the form of an individual grant. The grant is provided by UNWE for the eligible Erasmus+ period of teaching or training mobility and is determined annually by the National Agency, with different rates depending on the destination country. Approved participants sign an Erasmus mobility agreement with UNWE, which is a mandatory condition for receiving the grant.

Before departure

Before travelling to the host institution, each participant must submit the required documents to the Mobility Department, including:

  • Mobility Agreement
  • personal data protection declaration
  • individual financial agreement with UNWE

ALL THE FILES COULD BE FOUND IN THE DOCUMENTS SECTION.

After the mobility

After returning, participants must submit:

  • Certificate of Teaching Activities / Certificate of Training Activities
  • copies of tickets and boarding passes or other travel proof
  • online participant report

ALL THE FILES COULD BE FOUND IN THE DOCUMENTS SECTION.

Important

Erasmus+ mobility may not take place during the same period as other international academic activities abroad, such as conferences, project visits, or similar events. In such cases, the mobility may not be recognised and the grant may need to be repaid. Information about organised Staff Weeks may also be followed through the relevant external staff mobility platform.
