Application opportunities
The main Erasmus+ selection procedure is organized each year at the beginning of the second semester of the current academic year for mobilities in the following academic year.
Applicants may choose:
-
one semester (winter or summer), or
-
a full academic year,
and may indicate up to three partner universities that match their field and level of study at UNWE.
If places remain available, an additional selection procedure may be announced in September–October. In this case, applications are usually possible only for the summer semester.
Selection and ranking
Applications are reviewed by a university selection committee. Ranking is based on:
-
academic performance;
-
language proficiency;
-
relevance of the study field to the available places;
-
level and year of study.
Priority is usually given to:
-
PhD candidates;
-
students in higher years of study;
-
applicants who have not previously participated in Erasmus mobility.
Results are published within 20 days after the application deadline on the UNWE international website and are also sent by email. Selected students must attend an information meeting and confirm or decline participation within the announced deadline.
Funding
Participants receive Erasmus financial support in euros to help cover additional costs related to studying abroad. The grant is paid according to the rules set in the Financial Agreement.
Important: Failure to comply with the Learning Agreement or early termination of the mobility may result in the obligation to return part or all of the grant, except in cases of force majeure or serious health-related circumstances.
