Incoming Teachers and Staff Mobility

Staff from UNWE partner universities are welcome to apply for staff mobility at any time during the academic year. Applications should be sent by email to erasmus@unwe.bg.

In their email, applicants should briefly introduce themselves, their home institution, and the academic or professional field in which they teach or work. They should also indicate the preferred period for the mobility.

Once the application is reviewed and approved by UNWE, the sending and receiving institutions may begin preparing the planned mobility.

UNWE offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes in areas such as Economics, Business and Management, Business Administration, International Relations, Finance, and Journalism, all taught in English. Incoming teaching staff have the opportunity to work with UNWE colleagues in related fields, exchange good practices, and explore possibilities for future academic cooperation and joint research.

Academic Calendar

Incoming lecturers are encouraged to plan their teaching mobility in line with the UNWE academic calendar and official holiday periods.

• 1st Semester: 15 September 2025 – 25 January 2026
• 2nd Semester: 26 January 2026 – 7 June 2026
• Christmas Holidays: 23 December 2025 – 4 January 2026
• Easter Holidays: 3 April 2026 – 13 April 2026

How to Apply

Incoming teachers and staff who wish to carry out mobility at UNWE under Erasmus+ should send an email to erasmus@unwe.bg.

The email should include:

• a short self-introduction
• the name of the home institution
• the academic or professional field of teaching or work
• the preferred mobility period

If needed at a later stage, UNWE may request additional documents related to the planned mobility.
